  Pieces Technologies builds cloud-based clinical generative AI and ensemble-AI solutions to support inpatient care teams and streamline clinician workflows. As of September 10, 2024, the company has generated more than 5.4 million inpatient clinical summaries across multiple health system clients. In January 2020 the company closed a $25.7 million Series B to accelerate national distribution of its Decision Sciences and Iris platforms. Pieces Technologies develops the Pieces™ software platform, a predictive, cloud-based health information technology that offers integrated monitoring, prediction, workflow optimization, and organizational learning for hospitals, health systems, and community-based organizations. The platform interprets patient data in real time using predictive models and clinical research to create warning tools intended to identify and prevent adverse events such as avoidable mortality and re-hospitalization. Pieces Tech also provides cloud-based software for community organizations to manage client needs and connects to hospital information systems to offer a holistic view of patients. The Pieces™ platform was incubated at the Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation, and Parkland has reported benefits from its use. Children’s Health is working with Pieces to advance and co-develop technology for earlier interventions in pediatric chronic conditions. Founder and CEO Ruben Amarasingham, M.D., leads the company as it readies for broader marketplace expansion following its Series A financing.
