ViCentra develops and manufactures Kaleido, an insulin patch pump positioned as the smallest, lightest and most precise pump in its class. The system integrates with Diabeloop’s DBLG1 and DBLG2 hybrid closed-loop algorithms to deliver automated insulin therapy, and it is styled with premium materials and interchangeable aluminium shells in ten colours to resemble consumer technology rather than a traditional medical device. ViCentra currently commercialises Kaleido in parts of Europe and is expanding production capacity to meet strong demand. With fresh capital in hand, the company plans to bolster commercial execution in Germany, the Netherlands and France, while accelerating regulatory and operational preparations to enter the U.S. market. Management has set a goal to nearly triple its European user base by the end of 2026. Financially, ViCentra has secured a total of $98 million in Series D funding, including an $85 million tranche closed in September 2025 and a $13 million extension announced in the latest round.

SAM Labs produces fully contained, standards-compliant STEAM and coding teaching kits that combine Bluetooth-connected hardware blocks, interactive software, and curriculum-aligned courses for grades K-8. Its flow-based and block-based programming resources and game-based apps are designed for non-technical elementary and middle school teachers and include teacher training and easy classroom management. Reported partnerships include the City of Helsinki, the UAE Ministry of Education, Microsoft Education and Intel Education. The company was founded in 2014 and is based in London, UK. SAM Labs is a London-based education technology company that makes Bluetooth-connected, battery-powered building-block kits and a drag-and-drop app to teach children Internet of Things concepts. The kits include modules such as buttons, LEDs, servos, sliders, tilt, heat and light sensors, DC motors and buzzers, plus a virtual 'cloud' module that can use a computer camera or send messages to social media.
