- CAPER
Participated · Seed · Jan 2026
Founded in December 2022 and headquartered in Tokyo, CAPER builds and operates OpenSeek, an AI recruiting platform optimized for mid-career hiring. The product uses large-language-model technology to search across more than 15 open data sources, learn each client’s hiring preferences, and recommend when and how to contact potential candidates via social media or direct channels. OpenSeek handles candidate discovery, one-to-one outreach and long-term nurturing, replicating the work of experienced recruiters. The service is already deployed at 20+ companies ranging from seed-stage startups to enterprises with over 5,000 employees, delivering up to 10× higher interview conversion rates and rapid hires for hard-to-fill roles such as senior engineers and marketing leaders. CAPER’s mission is to let AI take over routine recruiting so humans can focus on judgment and relationship building. Proceeds from its latest funding will accelerate product development and expand the company’s engineering and business teams.
- Airgram
Participated · Series A · Aug 2022
Airgram offers automated transcription of Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams calls and produces sharable, editable text. It adds meeting-management features such as projecting agendas onto the screen with a timer to keep meetings on schedule. The product includes a Chrome extension that captures browser audio with one click and works by sending an audio recording bot into meetings as a participant. The company launched in Japan a year ago under the name Notta and has amassed 500,000 unique users there, both free and paid. Airgram is gearing up to enter North America and is targeting English-speaking countries. It is headquartered in Singapore with development in Shenzhen and says it hosts customer data in destination countries to strictly follow compliance and privacy rules.
- Beatrust
Participated · Series A · Apr 2022
Beatrust is a Tokyo-based provider of a collaboration platform led by CEO Kunio Hara. Its first product, Beatrust People, enables users to search and communicate by disclosing and sharing skills, experience and past career history. The second product, Beatrust Ask, is an internal knowledge platform that stimulates communication and collaboration among users. Customers include AGC Inc., LION Corporation, SUMITOMO CORPORATION, Konica Minolta Inc., KDDI CORPORATION and TB Next Communications, and the company serves firms across finance, real estate, auto-manufacturing, IT and advertising. Beatrust raised a $6.3M Series A to strengthen product and sales structures, accelerate functional development and advance infrastructure and security for enterprise customers. The company plans to grow the team to research overseas markets and strengthen its organizational structure. BeaTrust offers an enterprise collaboration platform that lets employees at large companies discover colleagues in different departments based on skills and interests and provides tools to work together on projects. Its initial feature set includes employee profiles listing skills and experience, with forthcoming modules to visualize team organization and enable collaboration on various project types including software development. The product is currently in closed beta, being tested with three late-stage startups of roughly 100–200 employees each. The founders say the platform is intended as a complement to Slack, Microsoft Teams and other communication tools, focusing on cross-department discovery rather than team chat. BeaTrust aims to reshape corporate culture at large Japanese companies by reducing silos and top-down communication, then expand into European and Asian markets where remote work is persisting. Financially, the company recently closed a seed round of JPY 300 million (about USD $2.83 million) to support product development and growth.
- rct AI
Participated · Series A · Nov 2021
rct AI is a New York-based developer of Delysium, an AAA web3 game. The game lets players own and manipulate physical in-game assets — including MetaBeings, virtual creatures, cyberbody, weapons, vehicles and environmental objects — that can be equipped, combined and upgraded via self-crafting or trading. Players can also create narrative assets such as dialogue models, behavioral models, decision-making models, storylines, missions and other personalized entertainment scenarios composed of AI-powered MetaBeings. Led by CEO Yuheng Chan, the company raised $4M in its first funding round to support game production and the broader ecosystem. rct AI plans to use the funds to launch Alpha and Beta versions of Delysium and to run a PVP tournament in the middle of the year. rct AI develops AI-powered content and virtual beings for the video game industry, including the Deterrence AI layer that powers intelligent NFTs and the Morpheus AI engine for NPC response and storyline generation. The company says it built the world’s first AAA play-to-earn game and the world’s first intelligent NFT chip to enable life‑like virtual beings and creators’ tooling. Its products include Deterrence (AI conversation, intent recognition, and motion generation) and Mirror NFT, a boutique gamefi collection that has seen millions of token transactions. rct AI emphasizes NFT utility and liquidity, AI-to-earn yield farming, and higher revenue potential for NFT owners as core business expansion areas. The company reports partnerships with 20+ game studios and serving 200M+ users worldwide. rct AI completed a $10M+ Series A-3 round, underscoring recent fundraising progress as it pursues broader Metaverse and gamefi adoption.
