FuelFWD builds a software platform that digitises compliance and traceability workflows for biofuel and e‑fuel producers and traders, offering both SaaS and PaaS deployments. The platform replaces manual processes and spreadsheets and uses AI to proactively flag potential compliance issues. Its digital fuel passport enables end-to-end traceability across supply chains and operates independently of specific certifications or fuel types. Founded in 2022 as a spin-out from Docklab, the company is based in Rotterdam and recently expanded its management team with Federico Pereiro alongside other software developers. FuelFWD plans to use the funding to further develop its technology and scale operations while leveraging its position in the Rotterdam–Amsterdam–Antwerp renewable fuels cluster.
