Remedium Bio is advancing a proprietary Prometheus™ platform designed to enable controlled, long-lasting expression of therapeutic proteins by harnessing adipocytes as a durable site for production. The platform aims to provide multi-year benefit with adjustable dosing following minimally invasive subcutaneous administration and to replace many subcutaneously administered protein therapies with single-injection, adjustable gene therapies. Its pipeline includes programs targeting endocrinology, immunology, neurology, and musculoskeletal diseases. The company recently completed an initial closing of a $10 million Series A led by LifeSpan Vision Ventures, with participation from Eli Lilly and Company and HKX Capital. Remedium is using the financing to advance lead programs, expand the platform, and prepare for first-in-human clinical studies. The announcement was issued from Norwalk, Connecticut.
