Founded in 2017 by former Qualcomm engineers and KAIST graduates, Neosapience develops Typecast, a generative voice platform built on proprietary “smart emotion” technology that analyzes scripts line-by-line to deliver context-appropriate tone and delivery. The system produces highly expressive synthetic voices from only a few minutes of source audio, enabling rich performances that extend well beyond the original recording. More than 2 million registered users—including broadcasters, telecom firms, e-commerce companies, and educators—employ Typecast for content creation and localization. The company is expanding its multilingual capabilities, prioritizing English, Spanish, Korean, and Japanese voices. Neosapience is now moving beyond basic voice generation toward real-time conversational AI that can listen, think, and respond. Recent funding is earmarked for global expansion, continued R&D, and further advancement of its emotionally intelligent speech synthesis.
