Daylight offers an API that aggregates all Web3 perks a user qualifies for by analyzing their wallet address, enabling actions like minting derivative NFTs, claiming airdrops, and accessing token-gated experiences. Wallet apps and NFT marketplaces use the API to surface user entitlements, boosting acquisition, retention, and engagement, while community tools use it to distribute allow-listed mints, claims, or unlocks. The API aggregates abilities by indexing on-chain data, integrating community tools such as POAP, Snapshot, and Guild, and accepting submissions from Daylight Scouts, a community that hunts for abilities across the Web3 ecosystem. The company demonstrated its API with a consumer web app launched in October, attracting around 14,000 closed beta users and a waitlist of 15,000. Led by CEO Kyle McCollom, Daylight plans to use the new funding to further customize its API for wallet app customers and to grow the Scout community. Daylight was founded in April 2022.
