- Iridius
Participated · Seed · Apr 2026
Iridius offers a platform composed of a knowledge engine that breaks regulations down rule-by-rule for real-time queries by AI agents and a solution factory that helps customers design, build, and connect compliant AI workflows to existing enterprise systems. The company's initial focus is life sciences and pharmaceutical customers, where it targets detailed compliance, validation, and audit requirements. Iridius was founded in 2024 by Mike Kropp and Alistair Lowe-Norris and has a leadership team with veterans from Microsoft, AWS, OpenAI, and Amazon. The startup has assembled an advisory bench of former CIOs from major pharma and medtech companies and added Clark Golestani, former Merck CIO, to its board. Iridius has not yet commercially launched its product but has a signed co-development agreement with a pharmaceutical customer and is in active discussions with others. Following its $8.6M seed raise, the company is expanding hiring, particularly for its AI engineering team.
- Interface
Participated · Seed · Nov 2025
Interface is a San Francisco–based startup that applies large language models to automatically review and validate safety documentation, technical drawings, regulations and corporate policies for heavy-industry operators. By surfacing errors and outdated instructions, the platform reduces the risk of catastrophic accidents and dramatically cuts the cost and time required for manual audits. In a deployment across three sites at one of Canada’s largest energy companies, Interface detected 10,800 issues in just 2.5 months—work the customer estimated would otherwise cost more than $35 million and take up to three years. The company charges a hybrid per-seat model with overage fees, and a single contract with that energy customer is worth more than $2.5 million annually. Interface currently has eight employees and is racing to hire more engineers and operations staff to meet demand from additional oil-and-gas clients in Houston, Guyana and Brazil. Longer term, the founders plan to expand beyond oil and gas into other heavy-industry verticals, tapping a U.S. market that alone includes roughly 27,000 oil-and-gas services firms. The startup’s recent seed financing provides capital to accelerate product development, sales, and hiring.
- Vallor
Participated · Seed · Apr 2025
Vallor provides an AI-agent platform that automates procurement contracts for enterprise procurement teams. Led by CEO Antonio Goncalves, the platform accelerates search cycles, reduces contract review time from days to minutes, and structures obligations for compliance automation. It transforms unstructured contract terms into actionable data that automatically monitors supplier performance to ensure contract compliance. The platform’s features include near-total elimination of administrative workload by automating manual procurement tasks. Vallor intends to use the $4M seed proceeds to grow its team in Miami and remotely and to accelerate product development across AI automation, contract intelligence, and supplier performance analytics. The article does not report operating metrics such as revenue or user counts.
