Okayker is a Karachi-based automotive repair and maintenance startup operating a network of workshops and vendors. It provides an end-to-end platform, including a mobile application for customers to place service appointments, and is building an automotive emergency service to run through its workshop network. The company says it has fixed more than 10,000 cars in the last 26 months and currently works with over 250 vendors and a network of 850 workshops in Karachi. Okayker is partnering with lubricant brands and has signed an MoU with Mobil to help counter counterfeit products. The startup aims to digitize the $90 billion automotive repair and maintenance industry across the MENAP region and to save customers time and reduce the risk of being scammed. Okayker was founded in January 2021 by Nashit, Hasnain Akber, and Asjad Amin (later joined by Anusha Shahid) and was incubated at the National Incubation Center in January 2023.
