- Tewke
Participated · Equity · Feb 2026
Founded in 2020 in London, Tewke develops Tap, a smart light-switch–sized device that installs in minutes and works in homes lacking a neutral wire, covering over 90% of UK housing. Tap’s nine on-board sensors feed data into the firm’s proprietary Tewke OS and the recently introduced TewkeAI framework, enabling contextual, AI-driven optimisation of lighting, heating and other electrical loads to align consumption with time-of-day tariffs. The company designs and patents its own hardware, firmware and operating system in-house. Beyond energy savings, Tewke aims to create a broader intelligent, user-centred living environment through neuro-symbolic AI systems now in development. The new capital will fund go-to-market execution and an expanded engineering team. Tewke’s growth is further supported by non-equity grants from Innovate UK. No revenue or user figures were disclosed.
- GoCab
Participated · Debt Financing · Jan 2026
GoCab is a London-based mobility and financial services company that combines ride-hailing, vehicle financing, and embedded fintech tools on a single platform. Its core product lets drivers and couriers acquire electric or traditional vehicles via Shariah-compliant, ethical financing structures, integrating repayment with their earnings. The company currently operates in five African countries, employs 120 people, and reports more than $17 million in annual recurring revenue while serving thousands of drivers. Management plans to expand into additional cities, increase the share of electric vehicles in its fleet, and roll out AI-powered credit-scoring and risk-management tools. The platform’s focus on ownership over rental aims to improve driver economics and loyalty. By linking mobility services with financial products, GoCab positions itself at the intersection of transportation and inclusive finance. The recent funding round strengthens its balance sheet with both growth equity and debt capacity to scale operations.

The company distributes access via an API in an exclusive closed beta and reports a waiting list of hundreds of potential users and businesses. Neuphonic was founded by Jiameng Gao (former Papercup co-founder) and Sohaib Ahmad (former hedge fund quant trader), who met at Cambridge University. Headquartered in King’s Cross, London, the startup plans to use new funding to expand language and voice offerings, improve model performance through additional research, and develop on-device solutions.
