Voke was founded by Sankar (Jay) Jayaram and Uma Jayaram, who originally developed the technology and tested experiences at Washington State University. The company is now based in Silicon Valley and is advised by entertainment and sports figures including Marc Anthony; Jeff Jonas serves as CCO. Voke plans to use new funding to secure more top sports for live streaming in VR.
