Sandberg Development AB is an international group, where innovation is a key word. The Group consists of three companies in widely different industries and is based in the Malmö / Lund region. Our goal is to create favorable conditions for the company's growth through long-term ownership. During their long business history, they have captured thoughts and ideas in a variety of business areas, managed, developed and funded. Common to the companies is that Sandberg Development AB invested at an early stage and continuously developed the unique ideas and products on which companies are based.

Watersprint develops and sells LED-based water disinfection systems that inactivate bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms. The company expanded its product offering and international footprint by acquiring the assets of Canadian Acuva Technologies for about SEK 23 million in January of the prior year. Watersprint completed a SEK 40 million capital raise in autumn 2023 and has now secured just over SEK 24 million in a new financing round from existing investors. Management says the new funds will be used to accelerate international expansion and strengthen the company's presence on prioritized markets, including the U.S. Financially, Watersprint reported SEK 3.6 million in net sales for 2024 and an operating loss of about SEK 27 million; 2025 results have not been published.

RemotiveLabs develops developer-centric tooling that virtualizes ECUs and entire vehicle networks to enable early integration testing on laptops and in CI pipelines. Its stack leverages open standards such as the Vehicle Signal Specification (VSS) and modern practices like containerization, gRPC and cloud collaboration. The platform lets teams switch seamlessly between virtual and physical environments, aiming to find and fix software issues earlier in the development cycle. RemotiveLabs positions this iterative approach as critical to achieving software quality at the start of production for Software Defined Vehicles. The company is recognized as a key enabler within Volvo Cars and other automotive OEMs and tech firms. With new funding, RemotiveLabs plans to further enhance its tooling and broaden adoption among automotive software teams.
