Led · Seed · Nov 2023
Trips is a first-of-its-kind platform that enables content creators to establish their copyright's initial digital provenance on-chain and to turn copyrights into financial assets. The product allows creators to authenticate themselves, link content platforms, stamp copyright ownership on the blockchain (what the company calls TCIs), and enable monetization opportunities through a single interface. Trips is launching on the Avalanche Evergreen Subnet to leverage the network’s customizability for permissioning, privacy, and other requirements. The company currently supports YouTube and plans to add more platforms in the near future. Trips has raised $2.5M in pre-seed funding led by Shima Capital with participation from Animal Capital, Blackwood Ventures, Serafund, Calligraphy Digital, Blizzard and the Avalanche Ecosystem Fund. CEO and Founder Michael Finkelstein frames the product as providing creators access to capital, protecting against unauthorized derivative uses, and future-proofing creative ownership.
- jiritsu.network
Participated · Equity · Sep 2023
Jiritsu Network (HOPR AI Inc.) builds verifiable off-chain computation technology—branded Unlimited Verifiable Compute (UVC)—to generate “Proof of Workflow” and cryptographically verify off-chain data and calculations. The product targets limitations in Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchains by improving security, scalability, risk management, and AI data integrity to enable broader smart-contract use cases. Jiritsu says its approach can verify every data source or off-chain calculation, increasing trust and transparency for blockchain workflows. The company also introduced Tomei RWA, an asset tokenisation platform using a proprietary attestation system intended to provide security in asset management. Founded in 2020 and registered in Delaware with headquarters in New Jersey, Jiritsu has positioned itself as core infrastructure for blockchain data and workflow verification. To date it has raised USD 10.2m across two funding rounds led by gumi Cryptos Capital, and recently received a strategic SAFE investment from tokentus.

Parcel is an NFT marketplace that aggregates digital land listings and architectural services for virtual landowners, sellers, and builders. The platform launched in July 2021 and aggregates listings across major Ethereum virtual worlds including The Sandbox, Decentraland, Voxels, Somnium Space, Mona, and NFT Worlds. Parcel offers interactive, data-rich visual maps, real-time price appraisals for open listings, and a proprietary gas-efficient smart contract that lowers transaction gas costs; it is temporarily reimbursing gas for wallets that list land. The company is developing Creatorverse, a creative directory to connect landowners with virtual architects and service providers, and an educational Learn platform to onboard Web3 users. Multi-chain support on Avalanche and Polygon is planned for later this year. The article situates Parcel within a virtual real estate market that generated more than $500 million in sales in 2021 and surpassed $1 billion in the first half of 2022.
