- RLWRLD
Participated · Seed · Apr 2025
RLWRLD is a physical AI company building robotics intelligence that collects and learns from on-site industrial data, enabling robots to understand their environments and make autonomous decisions. After completing initial technology verification, the firm is now running joint proof-of-concept (PoC) and RX (robotic transformation) projects with major Korean companies such as CJ Logistics and Lotte, and is expanding trials in Japan through partner Z Venture. Management states that real-world validation is critical and plans to officially release a robotics foundation model in the first half of 2026. Demand for its technology is rising amid East Asia’s labor shortages, driving interest from strategic partners that control large industrial sites. Financially, RLWRLD secured about US$15 million in a Seed 1 round and has now added roughly US$26 million in Seed 2 financing, bringing cumulative seed funding to approximately US$41 million. The fresh capital supports continued product development and broader global collaborations. Key backers include Headline Asia, CJ Logistics Corporation, Kakao Investment, LOTTE Ventures, Hanwha Asset Management, Mirae Asset·emart and Z Venture.
- Basetwo
Participated · Series A · Jan 2025
Basetwo develops a Physics AI platform that combines fundamental chemical engineering principles with artificial intelligence to optimize pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing processes. Its system enables manufacturers to run virtual experiments and simulate process changes before implementation, reducing time and cost and eliminating risks associated with live testing. Led by CEO and co-founder Thouheed Abdul Gaffoor and based in Toronto, the company serves manufacturing engineers seeking autonomous process optimization. Basetwo plans to accelerate development of its AutoPilot technology for autonomous, real-time manufacturing control using proceeds from its recent fundraise. It also intends to expand operations and its market presence in the US, Japan, Europe, and the Middle East. The company completed an $11.5M Series A to fund these initiatives.
- Rege Nephro
Participated · Series A · Jan 2022
Rege Nephro is developing therapies for kidney disease and is advancing a clinical pipeline in the renal space. The company is preparing for clinical trials and is using interim financing to accelerate R&D and pipeline advancement. Its recent bridge financing is intended to extend cash runway and de-risk near-term development milestones ahead of a larger Series C. Rege Nephro says this capital raise is part of a longer-term strategy to strengthen its position in renal therapies. The company plans to pursue a Series C in autumn 2026 and beyond as it progresses clinical and development activities.
