Overview
Slovak Investment Holding (SIH) provides the state with an effective and transparent tool for meaningful investments in the public interest. We are a team of professionals whose goal is to achieve the most social benefits as effectively as possible. We support strategic public and private investments in infrastructure, energy efficiency, waste management, social economy, small and medium-sized enterprises and the cultural and creative industries. The SIH is a joint-stock company that is 100-percent owned by the Slovak government. We currently manage financial resources in the total volume of approximately €1.2 billion, mainly from the European Structural and Investment Funds. We do not finance projects through grants, but exclusively through financial instruments which are returnable. As a result, SIH multiplies the monies invested by the state.
