- Eclore Actuators
Participated · Seed · Feb 2026
Founded in 2019 in Nantes, France, Eclore Actuators produces protective bellows for industrial robots that are five times more durable than conventional covers, lasting up to a year instead of the typical two months. The durability comes from a proprietary manufacturing process that forms the folds from a single continuous piece, eliminating glued or welded joints that usually constitute weak points. The 11-person startup recently moved into a 700 m² factory on the outskirts of Nantes to scale production. Eclore targets two complementary industrial markets: retrofitting robots already in service for quick, near-term sales, and supplying SCARA and other robot manufacturers for long-term, recurring revenue; it has already secured a series-production contract with Swiss manufacturer Stäubli and is negotiating with multiple Japanese robotics giants. Beyond industry, the company is prototyping its membrane technology as a directional “airbag” to eject drones or payloads for defense applications, with commercialization expected in about two years. Management expects industrial sales to account for more than 80 % of revenue over the next five years, while the fresh capital will fund increased production capacity and international commercial expansion, particularly in Japan.
- Seaber
Participated · Equity · Oct 2025
Founded in 2020 in Lorient, Seaber designs and builds compact autonomous underwater vehicles (micro-AUVs) that can dive to 300 metres and operate for 8–10 hours while carrying interchangeable payloads such as cameras, sonars and scientific sensors. The 20-person company controls both hardware and software, enabling rapid deployment and high modularity. In less than three years, it has industrialised its first model and sold more than 100 units on every continent, serving oceanography, water-quality monitoring and defense customers. Management reports that revenue has been doubling annually and is aiming for €8 million of sales in 2025 and 100 drones sold per year globally by 2030. Growth is further supported by strategic partnerships, including a collaboration with U.S. water-management giant Xylem on the EcoMapper Nano. Fresh capital will fund accelerated international expansion and deeper penetration of scientific and defense markets.
- Skyld
Participated · Seed · Oct 2025
Skyld is a Rennes-based deep-tech startup founded in 2023 by cryptography PhD Marie Paindavoine that focuses on securing artificial-intelligence models against theft, reverse engineering, and adversarial manipulations. Its software acts like an anti-theft device for algorithms, addressing a growing problem the company says has affected more than 70 % of enterprises over the past two years. The solution is already deployed with innovative customers in sensitive fields such as healthcare, defense, and autonomous mobility. Skyld currently employs six people and plans to double its headcount by 2026 as it scales commercial activities in France and across Europe. The company’s technology is positioned to grow in importance as AI adoption outpaces security measures. This recent capital injection supplies the resources needed to accelerate sales and further develop its protective platform.

ONAFIS plans to accelerate its development in France and internationally while strengthening its commercial and R&D teams. It aims to increase the performance of its solutions to deliver greater precision and efficiency to clients. The company recently completed a fundraising of €6 million, surpassing an initial €3.5 million target. Proceeds will support product performance improvements, team expansion and geographic growth.
- GenSensor
Participated · Equity · Jul 2023
GenSensor develops an automated online robot and monitoring system for real-time tracking of biological parameters during the manufacture of gene therapy vectors, vaccines and monoclonal antibodies. Founded in 2021 and based in Nantes, the company fuses microfluidics, robotics, sequencing and analytics to locate indicators of bioreactor health and provide end-to-end sampling to bioinformatics workflows. Its platform is positioned as a “genomic companion” to increase production capacity, improve process expertise and reduce the ecological impact of bioproduction. GenSensor aims to finish industrial development of its robot and launch initial applications for gene therapy, vaccine and antibody manufacturing using the new funding. The company presents itself as a partner for reindustrialising biomedicine production in France and supporting Industry 4.0 transitions by producing biological data in real time. GenSensor is a member of France Biolead and emphasizes local talent, training in analytical methods, and collaboration with regional, national and European partners.
