  • True Anomaly

    Participated · Series D · Apr 2026

True Anomaly develops and delivers capabilities for space missions, including autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors. The company says its products enable the U.S. and its allies to secure the space environment and counter threats. Founded in 2022 and based in Centennial, CO, True Anomaly has offices in Colorado Springs, Washington, D.C., and Long Beach, CA, and is led by CEO Even Rogers. Financially, the company has now raised a total of $1 billion in capital, including a $650M Series D that closed with $50M of debt. In the next 18 months True Anomaly plans multiple missions in LEO and GEO and will conduct the VICTUS HAZE Tactically Responsive Space demonstration while advancing its payload portfolio. The company intends to use the new funding to accelerate delivery across its product portfolio and mission capabilities.

  • Vital Lyfe

    Participated · Seed · Dec 2025

Vital Lyfe is building a new category of decentralized, personal water-making technology that lets users produce filtered, drinkable water anywhere on Earth. Founded by former SpaceX engineers Jon Criss and Andrew Harner, the company applies aerospace precision and systems thinking to water production, enabling operation across varied and rugged environments where conventional infrastructure fails. Its current prototypes serve maritime groups, NGOs, and other off-grid customers, validating durability and performance in high-stakes field conditions. The company plans to accelerate manufacturing and broaden deployments ahead of its first consumer-ready product launch in 2026. Fresh capital will fund scaled production, expand field pilots, and refine the product roadmap. To date, Vital Lyfe has secured more than $18 million in seed equity and additional committed debt financing, totaling $24 million of fresh funding.

  • Castelion

    Participated · Series B · Dec 2025

Castelion's flagship product is Blackbeard, described as a low-cost, mass-producible hypersonic strike missile engineered for industrial-rate output and continuous flight-test iteration. The company has progressed from early development to repeated flight testing, operational integration, and construction of a dedicated high-rate production capability, including the 1,000-acre Project Ranger manufacturing campus in New Mexico. Castelion has secured over $500 million in U.S. military contracts in the past 18 months and achieved program-of-record status for Blackbeard in under four years, with fielding targeted for 2027. Management and investors say the company is already producing hardware, mixing propellant in New Mexico, and shipping to the services. Castelion plans to use new capital to scale Blackbeard production, accelerate a longer-range precision strike weapon that leverages Blackbeard technologies, and develop lower-cost defensive systems. The company is headquartered in Torrance, California, with manufacturing operations in New Mexico, Texas, and California and offices in Washington, D.C. The Series C values the company at $13 billion following the $1 billion raise (comprised of $800 million equity and a $250 million revolving credit facility).

  • Karman Industries

    Participated · Seed · Sep 2024

Karman Industries builds industrial-scale heat pumps that use high-speed turbomachinery compressors to transfer heat while minimizing footprint. The company targets industrial-heat applications such as breweries, food and beverage processors, chemical manufacturers, and paper mills as a replacement for traditional boilers. Its turbomachinery approach claims to achieve the same temperature lift in one or two stages versus the five or six stages typical of other systems, and its compressors are oil-free to simplify design and maintenance. Karman’s largest compressor fits in a frame up to eight feet long and six feet in diameter; smaller models are four to five feet long and two to three feet in diameter. The first model, Thermal01, is expected to be pilot-ready for customer installation in the first half of 2026, and the company anticipates it will be cost-competitive with natural gas in certain regions and processes. Karman emerged from stealth and has raised a $4 million pre-seed led by Riot Ventures with participation from Space VC; co-founders include CEO David Tearse and CTO Chiranjeev (CJ) Kalra.

  • Rollup

    Participated · Seed · May 2024

Rollup provides a browser-based, real-time platform that supports the full hardware development lifecycle, including system modeling, requirements management, analysis, CAD review, and technical reporting. The product integrates with tools like Google Sheets, MATLAB, SolidWorks, and ANSYS and supports in-environment analysis in Python, MATLAB, Julia, and Octave. It emphasizes real-time communication and a unified inbox to reduce meetings and fragmented workflows, with a self-serve signup to speed evaluation and onboarding. Rollup initially targets aerospace and defense but is designed to be adaptable to other industries building complex hardware. The company plans to expand from early-stage startups to the largest aerospace and defense customers and to add more domain-specific functionality and integrations. Rollup raised a $5.6M Seed round to accelerate product development and market expansion.
