- Captain T Cell
Led · Equity · Nov 2025
Captain T Cell is a biotech spin-off from the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine that is building a pipeline of tumour-targeting TCR-T cell therapies. Its lead autologous candidate, CTC127, targets the MAGE-A4 antigen and will enter the TOMATA Phase I trial across nine German cancer centres, addressing lung, bladder, gastro-oesophageal, ovarian, and head-and-neck cancers. The company’s engineering “toolbox” adds functional armouring to T cells to enhance anti-tumour activity, persistence, and resilience within the solid-tumour microenvironment. In parallel, Captain T Cell is advancing a first-in-class allogeneic “off-the-shelf” TCR-T platform that has shown complete tumour responses in pre-clinical in-vivo studies. Management also plans to extend the toolbox toward in-vivo T-cell therapy applications. With the newly secured capital, the TOMATA trial is fully funded and the allogeneic program is positioned for clinical readiness, giving the firm multiple upcoming value-inflection points. Including earlier grants, Captain T Cell now has €20 million of available funding to execute its near-term clinical plans.
- Cellbyte
Participated · Seed · Nov 2025
Cellbyte, founded by Felix Steinbrenner and Daniel Moreira, has built an AI-native platform tailored for commercial teams planning new drug launches. The software ingests millions of clinical, pricing, HTA, regulatory and internal data points, then surfaces real-time insights to prepare launch documents, sequence markets and craft go-to-market strategies. By automating these processes, the platform shortens launch timelines and reduces operational complexity for pharma customers. The company expanded coverage to key global markets soon after launch and has already secured enterprise contracts with industry leaders such as Bayer. Cellbyte achieved six-figure annual recurring revenue within weeks and continues to post rapid ARR growth. With fresh capital, the team plans to triple headcount and bolster engineering capabilities as it strives to become the operating system for commercial pharmaceutical teams worldwide.
- CGC Genomics
Participated · Seed · Apr 2025
CGC Genomics, founded in 2023, develops Qnomx, a regulatory‑grade generative AI platform that interprets NGS cancer genome reports and produces concise, clinically relevant summaries with a human‑in‑the‑loop. The company is developing Qnomx under an ISO 13485‑certified quality management system and aims for regulatory approval compliant with IVDR, MDR and the European AI Act. Internal use has shown substantial efficiency gains—reducing manual interpretation that can take up to two hours to concise summaries delivered in minutes—and the platform is now in pilot validation with Labor Becker and the OnkoMedeor Group. CGC positions Qnomx as a transparent, auditable alternative to unregulated tools currently used in some clinical settings. The startup highlights the market need—rising cancer cases and low NGS uptake—where many oncologists find current NGS reports too complex to act on quickly. Financially, CGC Genomics has secured external support via a pre‑Seed raise to advance product development and regulatory milestones.
