The company was launched in 2012 and is based in Sant Just Desvern (Barcelona), with presence in Colombia, Mexico and Argentina. The recently closed financing will fund the launch of a new platform intended to increase sales, grow the community and open new markets. Almashopping reports monthly revenue of $150,000 and has 12 employees. After the $650,000 round the company has raised a total of $1.2 million to date. Investors in the round include IESE’s venture arm Finaves, NXTPlabs, Ennovva and Mexican pharmacy chain FaderMex.
