Plasmacure is a Nijmegen-based MedTech company whose flagship product, PLASOMA, applies cold plasma directly to complex wounds to accelerate healing. The PLASOMA pulser delivers controlled electric pulses to a disposable pad, generating cold plasma at the wound that acts as a potent antimicrobial and stimulates blood flow and cell regeneration. The company reports a randomized controlled trial in which PLASOMA closed up to 2.5 times more complex wounds than standard care.
