1400 112th Avenue Southeast, Suite 100-37, Bellevue, WA, 98004, US
Overview
Story Foundation is a blockchain-based platform for registering and managing intellectual property. It allows users to assign machine-readable license terms, track attribution, and automate royalty distribution for derivative works through its “Proof-of-Creativity” protocol. The system supports programmable, legally enforceable licensing and enables tokenization of IP assets for trading, staking, and portfolio creation. On-chain enforcement mechanisms help manage license compliance, attribution, and royalty payments in interconnected IP networks.

Verse8 provides an AI-native platform that lets creators instantly transform text prompts into fully playable multiplayer games, removing the need for complex engines or large development teams. The platform has seen rapid user growth, reaching over 3.5 million monthly active users, supporting 5,000 creators, and enabling creation of more than 25,000 games. Verse8 is integrated with Story to offer on-chain ownership, licensing, and distribution, allowing creators to retain attribution and participate in downstream revenue under programmable licensing frameworks. - Aria
Participated · Seed · Sep 2025
Aria is building a protocol that converts cultural intellectual property (IP) such as music, art, and media into ‘IP real-world assets’ (IPRWAs), tradable tokens that provide holders with programmable income rights. In June 2025 the company debuted $APL, a token backed by partial income rights to a portfolio of 48 songs from artists including BLACKPINK, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and BTS; token holders can stake $APL and receive real-world royalty payouts. The rights for $APL were acquired with $10.95 million raised via StakeStone’s LiquidityPad, demonstrating early community demand for tokenised royalties. With fresh capital, Aria plans to advance features like on-chain royalty distribution, automated revenue splits, and programmable remix licensing while onboarding additional rights holders. The roadmap also includes expanding beyond music into art and other culturally significant verticals to create a broad marketplace for liquid cultural IP. Investors view Aria as part of the larger real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation trend that is bringing traditionally illiquid assets on-chain. The company’s financing to date totals at least $25.95 million when combining platform funds used for rights acquisition with its equity rounds.
- Tomo
