  • StrainX Bioworks

    Participated · Equity · May 2026

Co-founded in 2023 by Akshay Mittal and Alok Malaviya, StrainX Bioworks focuses on engineering biological systems and using precision fermentation to produce high-value food ingredients and alternative proteins. The company develops proprietary enzymes, proteins and metabolites aimed at the food, healthcare and agriculture sectors and integrates strain engineering, fermentation infrastructure, process engineering and product development into a single platform. It spent two years building capabilities while operating in stealth mode and says it has demonstrated fermentation at the 10,000-litre scale. StrainX is preparing to scale production further and pursue commercialisation in India and overseas markets, including the US. The recent $13 million raise will fund expansion of R&D, fermentation infrastructure and growth of its engineering and scientific teams to support industrial-scale manufacturing and global go-to-market efforts.

  • Neulife

    Participated · Seed · Apr 2026

Founded in 2014 by Samit Gupta and based in Mumbai, Neulife Nutrition is an R&D-driven performance nutrition company that commercialized a D2C business in 2022. Its flagship products include Pro Standard Whey (launched 2023) and Super Isolate (launched 2024), which the company says leverage its patented Ketofuel MCT technology to achieve roughly 30% higher protein absorption. The company plans to use recent funding to expand R&D, launch new high-absorption protein formulations, and scale its protein portfolio globally across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Neulife aims to capture about 15% of India’s premium protein market by 2028 and is planning an additional raise to support that expansion.

  • Sensesemi

    Participated · Seed · Jan 2026

Sensesemi designs single-chip edge-AI processors that combine AI inferencing, wireless mesh connectivity and precision analogue sensing to deliver real-time, on-device intelligence with minimal power draw. By vertically integrating compute, connectivity and sensing, the company aims to cut system complexity, size and cost while extending battery life for mission-critical applications such as predictive maintenance, driver monitoring, cardiac monitoring and smart drug delivery. It is also building an analogue-domain AI inference processor to push power consumption even lower for battery-operated and implantable devices. The startup plans to use freshly raised capital to complete chip tape-outs, build reference designs and expand its engineering team. Partnerships with device makers are being pursued to accelerate commercial adoption. Management believes rising demand for edge computing and India’s expanding semiconductor market position the company well for growth. The firm has not yet disclosed revenue or shipment figures, but cites forecasts of 5–7 billion annual edge-AI chip shipments globally by 2030.

  • Hyperbots

    Participated · Series A · May 2025

Hyperbots is an agentic AI platform that automates finance and accounting workflows for mid-market enterprises. Its product suite comprises specialized AI co-pilots—built with CFOs—that handle procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, expense management, analytics, reporting, invoice processing, matching and reconciliation, accruals, tax validation, payment-term checks, and ERP GL-code recommendations. Co-pilots integrate with leading ERP, CRM, and finance systems, and the team worked with 25+ U.S. design partners over 18 months before launching an MVP. Since launch, Hyperbots reports over 80% straight-through processing, 99.8% document accuracy, and up to 80% reduction in manual intervention. Planned product and go-to-market initiatives include U.S. expansion, development of new co-pilots, and the launch of HyperLM, a finance-and-accounting LLM pre-trained with millions of data points and domain-specific reasoning. Hyperbots is an Indian-founded, Dover, DE–based AI-powered fintech startup that has developed AI Assistants to automate finance operations. The company's assistants target accounts payable, expense processing, and accounts receivable, removing repetitive and mundane tasks to drive productivity gains. Leadership includes CEO Rajeev Pathak, VP AI Niyati Chhaya, and Head of Engineering Ram Jayaraman. The company raised $2M in seed funding led by Kalaari Capital with participation from Sunicon Ventures and Athera Venture Partners.
