    ecoworks develops AI-powered planning tools, digital twins and industrial prefabrication methods to enable serial, cost-efficient energy renovations of residential buildings. The company was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Berlin, employing over 130 engineers, architects and digital experts. Its approach packages prefabricated facade modules, roof insulation and PV systems, upgraded windows and services to accelerate retrofit timelines and reduce tenant disruption. ecoworks is currently executing a flagship project in Hagen to upgrade twelve buildings (approximately 15,000 sqm and 192 apartments) to KfW Efficiency House 55, targeting a 36% reduction in final energy demand and about 190 tonnes of CO₂ savings per year. The company previously raised €40 million in 2023 for its AI digital planning solution and now announced a €23 million raise to scale serial renovation at neighbourhood scale. ecoworks states its mission to save one gigaton of CO₂ by 2045 through industrialised renovation techniques.

The company plans to expand its presence in Europe and add further locations in the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand, prioritizing the U.K., Scandinavia, Germany, BeneLux, Austria, and Switzerland. Unyoked recently raised funding to support that expansion.

Its system scans cars entering and exiting spaces, processes more than 1 million parking transactions every day, and supplies operators with analytics to identify unused capacity and increase commercial value. The company’s solution is GDPR-compliant and DEKRA-certified. Parkdepot employs around 200 people across six countries and has expanded from the DACH region into Poland, Denmark, and Italy, now managing almost a third of its parking spaces in international markets. Financially, Parkdepot recently closed a €15 million Series A following a €4.2 million seed round in March 2021. The new capital is earmarked for continued product development and international expansion. Parkdepot is a Munich-based startup that digitizes and automates parking-lot management with a camera system that scans vehicles entering and exiting. The platform eliminates on-site staff and avoids expensive hardware, lowering operating costs. The company reports 30% month-over-month growth and employs over 50 people. It counts McDonald’s as a customer and manages one in eight McDonald’s parking facilities in Germany. The team has reduced average installation time from one week to just a few hours. Parkdepot aims to become Europe’s largest parking lot manager within the next two years and will use new funding to continue growth and develop product innovations.
