- Pan Cancer
Participated · Seed · Jul 2024
Pan Cancer T is a Rotterdam-based biotech spin-out from Erasmus MC (founded in 2020) that engineers TCR-T cell therapies for hard-to-treat solid cancers. Its platform pairs broadly expressed tumour targets with proprietary technologies designed to enhance T-cell durability, aiming to improve efficacy against solid tumours. The lead program, PCT1:CO-STIM, is being prepared for a first-in-human trial in women with triple-negative breast cancer. Additional pipeline programs address malignancies of the skin, colorectum, stomach, oesophagus, ovary and uterus. To date the company has secured roughly €21 million in capital, comprising €2 million in grants, an Innovation Credit loan and multiple equity financings. The latest infusion strengthens its cash position to advance pre-clinical work through the clinic while expanding its broader solid-tumour pipeline. Existing investors continue to back the firm alongside non-dilutive government support, reflecting confidence in its differentiated approach.
- Flindr Therapeutics
Participated · Series A · Apr 2024
Flindr Therapeutics is a pre-clinical precision oncology therapeutics company developing targeted cancer drugs using its ImmunoGram Drug Discovery Engine. The ImmunoGram engine reverse-translates clinical heterogeneity in tumor- and host-specific factors into lab-based biological models to screen and select key drug targets. Its lead program is a first-in-class small-molecule inhibitor of RNF31 (HOIP) that has shown promising preclinical activity in ovarian cancer and B-cell lymphoma models and for which biomarkers have been identified to aid patient selection. The company was spun out of the Netherlands Cancer Institute and the Oncode Institute in 2020 and was previously called Immagene; it is led by CEO Maarten Ligtenberg. Flindr raised €20M in a Series A financing to advance its programs. The company intends to use the funds to progress the lead program toward IND, develop a second program, and broaden its pipeline using the ImmunoGram Drug Discovery Engine.
