- Dash Bio
Participated · Series A · Aug 2026
Dash Bio has developed a first-in-industry bioanalysis platform that combines a 24,000-square-foot GLP laboratory, robotics, and a proprietary laboratory operating system to productize assays including ELISA, MSD, qPCR, ddPCR, and LC-MS. The platform emphasizes speed, automation, transparent fixed pricing, and end-to-end digital traceability, returning preclinical sample results in days rather than months. Since launching go-to-market efforts roughly nine months ago, Dash has secured contracts with over 30 customers, including four top-15 global pharmaceutical companies. Financially, the company has raised a total of $47.5 million following its $30 million Series A led by Oak HC/FT. Dash plans to use new funding to scale commercial operations, expand its assay menu and lab capacity, move into new categories, and continue developing its proprietary software. The company was founded by Dave Johnson (CEO), Ander Tallett (COO), and Ely Porter (CSO).
- Bluefish

- Hipp Health
Participated · Seed · Oct 2025
Founded in 2024 in San Francisco by David Connors and Faaez Ul Haq, Hipp Health provides behavioral health providers with an AI-powered platform designed to reduce paperwork and improve compliance. The software automates data collection, clinical notes, scheduling, and session compliance while embedding analytics directly into clinical and operational workflows. It also expedites billing through automated claims validation and follow-up solutions, addressing complex Medicaid requirements. The company targets the hundreds of thousands of behavioral health practitioners in the United States who struggle with administrative overhead. Hipp Health plans to use newly raised capital to accelerate product development, expand its San Francisco team, and further refine its AI capabilities. Although still early-stage, the company positions itself as an essential infrastructure layer for behavioral health operations. No revenue or user figures have been publicly disclosed.
- Capsule
Participated · Series A · Apr 2025
Capsule offers an AI studio that helps teams create and edit video with features like automatic transcription, intro summarization for title cards, image generation, and text animations. The company is upgrading its editor with an AI co-producer that makes creative suggestions, recommends footage and clip sequencing, and accepts prompts (e.g., “Create a sizzle reel from our latest event”). Capsule is adding real-time collaborative editing alongside existing commenting to let colleagues work on different parts of a video simultaneously. The product targets brands and teams looking to reduce editing time and speed up post-production and is available as both a free version and a paid enterprise subscription. Capsule launched publicly in October 2024 after a 2023 beta and counts customers such as HubSpot, Instacart, and Ramp. Financially, roughly a third of the company’s revenue last year came from expansion; it has raised a total of $19.75 million to date. Capsule is a New York–based startup founded in 2020 that builds a browser-based, AI-powered video editor called AI Studio. AI Studio transcribes video with ASR, uses diffusion models to generate B-roll from transcripts, and leverages LLMs to summarize text and create title cards, captions, and image prompts. The editor runs in the browser and feeds model outputs into CapsuleScript, a custom video scripting language that can render and personalize video dynamically. Capsule targets enterprise teams without video expertise and reports that 90% of its revenue comes from enterprise customers; its platform has been used at Snowflake, TED, Salesforce, and The Wall Street Journal. With the new funding the company plans to hire roughly a dozen engineers, ML talent, product and marketing staff to commercialize AI Studio and accelerate product development. Capsule declined to disclose detailed revenue or customer counts but said it will announce customer numbers soon. Capsule provides a full platform for brands to host customizable video Q&A campaigns, where consumers submit short video responses that the company curates into final videos. The product offers editable templates (about 20 base templates) and a JavaScript-based automation language that adds music, graphics, pre-roll/post-roll and dynamic mixing so customers get a polished video without manual editing. Brands customize campaigns by changing logos, colors, buttons, backgrounds and URLs, and capsules can be distributed via social media or embedded on websites. Capsule has landed contracts with hundreds of customers, including Netflix, OkayAfrica, Google, Samsung, Salesforce, Deloitte, The Wall Street Journal, Paloma Health and the USO. The startup launched last year after the founding team pivoted from experiential-marketing business Hypno (and earlier created Phhhoto). With the recent raise, Capsule plans to hire a product designer and build new collaboration features such as upvoting to broaden internal and creator-driven video production.
- Jacobi Robotics
Participated · Seed · Jul 2024
Jacobi Robotics commercializes an AI-powered motion planning platform that significantly reduces robot programming time and computational requirements. Its technology reportedly requires 1000x less computational time and generates collision-free trajectories with computational times below 1 ms, enabling deployment in less than one day versus up to one month with existing tools. The company launched availability of its robotics AI software platform and introduced the Jacobi Palletizer, the first in a series of AI-powered solutions leveraging the motion-planning breakthrough. In production deployments, partners have seen a 95% reduction in deployment time and a 24% savings in overall project costs. Jacobi has secured agreements with manufacturers across the US, robotics solutions providers including Formic, and Fortune 500 companies across sectors such as electronics and consumer packaged goods. Based in Berkeley, CA, the company aims to make advanced robotics capabilities accessible and reliable for real-world production settings. Jacobi Robotics builds robot-path-planning software designed to detect and avoid singularities that can stop industrial robot arms. The product targets repetitive industrial tasks such as bin picking, package sort and palletizing, where singularities require manual intervention and tedious path re-tuning. Its software supports major robot-arm vendors including ABB, Fanu, Universal and Yaskawa. The company has run pilots with automation deployment firm Formic and an unnamed large consumer electronics partner, with Formic reporting significantly reduced deployment times. Jacobi was founded in 2022 by four UC Berkeley robotics students alongside professor Ken Goldberg, who serves as chief scientist. The startup closed a $1.0 million pre-seed in early 2023 and is currently focused on raising a seed to bring its solution to market.
