Emmersion develops cloud-based, AI-enabled automated language assessments and recently launched the first fully adaptive automated speaking assessment. The platform is used by over 700 customers worldwide, including Global 100 companies, large contact centers, and universities. Emmersion's tests automate and speed traditionally human-led language testing, delivering immediate and reportedly more accurate results. The company plans to expand product capabilities, add new languages, and build specialized offerings for employee screening, academic progress, and certification. The funding will also be used to grow the team taking the solution to market. Emmersion was founded in 2015 and is based in Lehi, Utah (Silicon Slopes).

Momni operates an Android and iOS caresharing app that connects mothers for high-quality, local childcare, offering instant access to care through a 'Momni Circle' and community. The company is led by Karmel Larson. It works closely with the Momni Foundation to provide caresharing opportunities to women and families in the developing world as a response to the global childcare crisis. Momni secured more than $1.75M in its latest funding round, bringing total fundraising to over $2M. The company intends to use the funds to expand product features and open new markets.
