  • Strong by Form

    Participated · Equity · Jul 2026

Strong by Form develops Woodflow, a digitally molded structural biomaterial made from wood residues (e.g., radiata pine, fir) combined with resin to produce pieces that the company says reach concrete-level strength at a fraction of the weight and using less wood than cross-laminated timber. Founded in 2018 in Santiago by Andrés Mitnik (CEO), Jorge Christie (CPO) and Daniel Del Río (CTO), the company operates a plant in La Reina with four robots and a laser cutter and employs about 25 people. Its technology has been used in real projects, including a balsa wood cladding installation in the departures hall of Quito airport. The new capital is intended to fund a pilot plant in Spain by late 2027 to scale toward industrial construction applications. Financially, Strong by Form completed a roughly $5M seed in 2023 and has now advanced the first tranche of its third round.

  • SQUAREMIND

    Participated · Series A · Apr 2026

SQUAREMIND develops an integrated dermatology platform combining robotics, high-resolution imaging and artificial intelligence to digitize and map the entire skin surface in minutes. Its flagship product, Swan™, automates image acquisition at dermoscopic resolution and pairs that capture with AI-assisted review and longitudinal lesion tracking. The company positions the technology to increase clinicians’ diagnostic throughput and to standardize documentation for follow-up and screening. SquareMind plans to industrialize production and expand commercial teams to deploy the platform across Europe and the United States. The startup raised $18 million in the current financing (including a prior pre-Series A) to fund these plans. It is led by cofounder and CEO Ali Khachlouf and was founded in Paris.

  • neuroClues

    Led · Series A · Apr 2026

NeuroClues offers a portable, CE‑marked Class IIa medical device that records high‑speed infrared eye movements and applies proprietary AI algorithms to generate objective neurological biomarkers within minutes. The system is intended for use in hospitals, private neurology practices, and research centers and replaces subjective observational assessments with quantified data that can integrate into clinical workflows. After securing CE certification in early 2025, the company deployed more than 30 devices across seven European countries, including France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the UK. NeuroClues is building clinical partnerships—such as integration into cohorts at the Paris Brain Institute—and is participating in a large-scale study to develop a 25,000-participant normative oculomotor biomarker database. The company aims to enable earlier and more precise identification of neurological conditions including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and concussion‑related impairments. Financially, NeuroClues has raised €25 million in total capital to date, including the recent €10 million Series A and additional non‑dilutive funding, and is expanding its commercial organization to support wider European rollout.

  • Generare

    Participated · Series A · Apr 2026

Generare builds a platform combining high-throughput cloning and sequencing to identify, express, and characterise novel small molecules from microbial genomes, generating structured data on their properties. The company is focused on expanding the accessible chemical space for drug discovery by creating a large-scale dataset of previously unexplored molecular diversity. Founded in 2023, Generare reports growing adoption of its platform among pharmaceutical and research organisations, with discovered molecules entering early-stage drug development. Its immediate plans include expanding its compound library, scaling its discovery capabilities, and hiring across a multidisciplinary team to meet demand. Financially, the company recently secured €20 million in a Series A to fund those growth initiatives.

  • Genomines

    Participated · Series A · Sep 2025

Genomines is a Paris-based metal extraction company pioneering plant-based "phytomining" to produce battery-grade nickel. Its proprietary platform engineers hyperaccumulator plants that absorb and concentrate nickel from soil, after which the biomass is processed into high-purity metal. This approach promises faster production cycles, cost reductions, and dramatically lower carbon emissions compared with conventional mining. Early commercial partners include Hyundai Motor Group and Jaguar Land Rover, underscoring industrial demand for cleaner nickel. With the new capital, the team plans full-scale field demonstrations of nickel production and the negotiation of large offtake contracts to secure long-term revenue streams. To date, Genomines has raised $62 million, comprising a $5 million seed round, $12 million in non-dilutive funding from BPI France programs, and the latest $45 million Series A.
