  • RapidPulse

    Led · Series B · Jul 2026

RapidPulse is developing a pulsed (cyclic) aspiration platform and a range of catheter sizes intended to improve clot engagement, removal efficiency and procedural consistency during mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke. The company’s system is being evaluated in the TURBO investigational device exemption study, conducted in the United States and Europe to support its U.S. regulatory pathway. RapidPulse plans to expand clinical experience with its system across leading stroke centers as part of that program and may pursue FDA approval if clinical data support a submission. The platform strategy includes continued development of the catheter portfolio and broader clinical use to gather performance data across different patients, clot types and treatment settings. RapidPulse was spun out of medical device incubator Syntheon and is headquartered in Miami. Financially, the company recently raised an oversubscribed $48 million Series B co-led by Medtronic, TechWald Next and S3 Ventures, with additional participation from SBI Investment Company, the Florida Opportunity Fund, and existing investors.

  • SentiAR

    Participated · Series B · Apr 2023

SentiAR develops augmented reality visualization technology for medical procedures, centered on its CommandEP product that creates real-time 3D holographic views of patient anatomy. CommandEP integrates existing imaging systems and uses a headset to provide hands-free manipulation of patient data and live catheter locations during cardiac ablation. The system gives physicians a 360-degree interactive view of heart anatomy and has been shown to improve navigation accuracy in the heart by up to 50%. The company says the new funding will support additional partnerships and wider clinical deployments of CommandEP. SentiAR is based in St. Louis, Missouri, and positions its technology as a workflow-friendly AR tool designed not to impede clinical procedures. The company highlights clinical and strategic collaborations as central to its commercialization plans. SentiAR develops a mixed-reality visualization platform for use during interventional procedures, beginning with cardiac ablation and treatment of atrial fibrillation. Its FDA 510(k) cleared CommandEP system receives imaging data from electroanatomic mapping systems and creates a 3D holographic image via proprietary data-flow and visualization algorithms. The patented system displays real-time catheter positions in the patient’s heart through a wearable headset and relies on a custom AR engine for performance. SentiAR’s technology was spun out of Washington University in St. Louis by Dr. Jennifer Silva and Dr. Jonathan Silva. Led by CEO Berk Tas, the company plans to use new funding to accelerate innovation on the CommandEP system.

  • SoniVie

    Participated · Series C · Jan 2023

SoniVie develops TIVUS, an ultrasound denervation platform with active programs in pulmonary artery denervation for pulmonary hypertension, renal artery denervation for resistant hypertension, and lung denervation for COPD with chronic bronchitis. After the financing the board is chaired by Zvika Slovin and includes investor-appointed directors and independent directors Raymond W. Cohen and Zeev Zehavi. SoniVie has operations in Israel, the US and Europe. The company raised $60M in a Series C to advance its development and regulatory goals.
