The company announced new products Archer AI (an FPV platform augmented with autonomy features) and Bandit (a c‑UAS interceptor) and is building the hardware and compute stack for multi-asset control. Neros plans to scale domestic production capacity and aims to produce one million drones per year across multiple capability classes by 2028. It has major contracts with the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, every component of SOCOM, and several allied nations, and operates a UK subsidiary to partner with European allies. Management reported explosive growth since its prior financing in November and is using fresh capital to accelerate development, production ramps, and deployment into combat theaters by the end of 2026. • Panthalassa

    Led · Series B · May 2026

Panthalassa builds self-propelled, autonomous floating nodes that capture wave energy to generate continuous clean electricity and run AI inference computing onboard, transmitting results to land via low-Earth-orbit satellites. The company has spent about a decade developing its power generation, propulsion, autonomy, and at-sea computing technologies and demonstrated capabilities with Ocean-1, Ocean-2, and Wavehopper prototypes in 2021 and 2024. Panthalassa plans to deploy its Ocean-3 pilot node series in the northern Pacific in 2026 to demonstrate AI inference at sea and to refine manufacturing ahead of commercial deployments in 2027. The platform uses the ocean for free supercooling to extend chip lifetimes and avoids transmitting power to shore by performing computing onboard. The company is a public benefit corporation headquartered in Portland, Oregon, and recently raised $140 million in a Series B to complete a pilot manufacturing facility and accelerate initial deployments.

  • Stark Defence

    Participated · Equity · Aug 2025

Stark Defence develops weaponised drones and positions itself as a defence technology provider focused on scaling European sovereign capabilities. The company plans to expand electronic warfare research facilities and increase production capacity following its recent financing. In its €500 million raise at a €3.5 billion valuation, more than 80% of proceeds are earmarked for R&D and manufacturing. The startup was founded in 2024 and is backed by investors including Sequoia, Founders Fund, the NATO Innovation Fund and Peter Thiel. Stark says the funding will accelerate development of sovereign defence technologies and scale its engineering and factory footprint. • Praxis

    Participated · Equity · Nov 2024

Praxis is an internet-first, network-state startup led by Dryden Brown and co-founder Charlie Callinan that seeks to turn an online community into a physical city. Its core offering is designing and building a purpose-built city prototype (Brown references Elon Musk’s preferred name “Terminus”) by courting governments and negotiating location-specific deals. Brown has spent years traveling and meeting politicians and local actors—most recently visiting Greenland, meeting officials, mining executives and entrepreneurs—to explore sites and terms. Praxis envisions deploying technologies such as Rainmaker cloud-seeding and nuclear power from Valar Atomics in its proposed settlements. The group recently hosted 250 supporters in Punta Cana to present location options and advance planning. Financially, Praxis has secured $525 million in funding that it can draw down as it hits defined city-building milestones. Praxis is a startup aiming to build a new city organized around the computer revolution that enables people to work from wherever they wish. The company says it is engaging with landowners and governments, designing economic and political systems, architecting buildings and infrastructure, and bringing together the people who will inhabit the city. Praxis describes the project as still early in the process and plans to use fresh capital to hire more staff for its real estate, governance and engineering teams. Financially, Praxis raised $15 million in a Series A funding round. Prior to the Series A, the company raised $4.2 million in a seed round late last year. Seed investors included Balaji Srinivasan and Winklevoss Capital.
