Everimpact offers an MRV platform that combines satellite data, ground sensors and AI to measure greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in real time and certify emissions and sequestration data. The platform lets cities and industries identify reduction opportunities and access carbon finance to fund decarbonisation projects. Everimpact is working with Dijon (with EDF), British cities (in partnership with BT), and partners with Hitachi Systems in Japan to monitor municipal forest sequestration. It is also developing a shipping measurement solution being trialed onboard a Mitsubishi Corporation Group vessel and available through an Early Adopter Program. Headquartered at Station F in Paris and founded by former UN executives, the start-up recently closed a seed funding round. The company plans to use the funding to expand carbon monitoring and monetisation capabilities for cities globally and to scale its shipping measurement solution.
