SentiOne builds a social media monitoring and brand-listening platform that lets users create instant monitors for any topic. The system generates sentiment analysis in a few seconds and supports testing in 20 languages. SentiOne has built a database of over 12 billion mentions searchable in real time back five years and uses bots to find and store mentions on its own servers. The tool was developed while the founders attended Gdansk University of Technology and the team has been working on the problem since 2011. The company is focused on Europe and reports 1,200 customers while growing at 5.02 percent. It plans to use the new funding to expand internationally and build out its monitoring platform.

Silvair is a Polish smart lighting company that builds a Bluetooth Mesh–based scalable smart lighting platform for enterprise customers. Its product combines base stations and lightbulbs to deliver occupancy sensing, beacons, customer tracking and lighting to retail and building-management customers. The system is designed to be plug-and-play, allowing large numbers of Bluetooth devices to be added or removed in seconds without lengthy pairing. Silvair is one of the first companies to ship a product using the Bluetooth Mesh standard after roughly two years of development. CEO Rafal Han describes the product as the "first fully-scalable smart lighting platform." The company raised a $12 million Series A to fund platform improvements and ramp up customer support.
