  • 8Flow

    Participated · Seed · Jun 2023

8Flow provides an enterprise workflow mapping platform that observes, maps, and optimizes support and back-office workflows to prepare enterprise data for AI-driven workflow automation. The product helps organizations identify human behaviors and create blueprints for training and guiding AI agents ‘on the job’ to automate processes at scale. Its proprietary platform has tracked more than 600 million events and is approaching 1 billion events, which the company says enables measurable productivity improvements. With strategic backing from ServiceNow and Okta, 8Flow is leveraging partnerships to address challenges in organizing enterprise data across complex and fragmented system environments. The company frames its mission like Waze for the enterprise—crowdsourcing workflow data to enable autonomous agent navigation of business processes. 8Flow aims to turn real-world workflow observations into actionable automation blueprints that improve productivity and enable scaled agentic automation. 8Flow.ai is launching out of stealth with an enterprise-grade, self-learning workflow automation engine that integrates with tools like Zendesk, ServiceNow and Salesforce Service Cloud. It currently ships as a Chrome extension that learns agents' repetitive steps (copying and pasting between apps) and surfaces one-click actions to speed task completion. The product captures usage data and feedback to iteratively build reusable "bricks" and, over time, train machine-learning models to generate AI-led workflows tailored to each user. Today the team is focused on phase one — optimizing the user interface and experience — while using customer deployments to collect data and prove value. Customers such as FloorFound report increased efficiency and accuracy from eliminating tab-switching and manual data transfer. Co-founder and CEO Boaz Hecht previously led SkyGiraffe (acquired by ServiceNow) and remained at ServiceNow through March 2022; he founded 8Flow with former colleagues Josh Russ and Yev Goldin.

  • Showdigs

    Participated · Seed · Feb 2022

Showdigs combines scheduling and showing technology with a network of licensed real estate agents to modernize single-family leasing and property-management fieldwork. Its core product includes on-demand tour scheduling, a smartphone app, SMS automation, a 24/7 automated leasing line, and secure self-showing technology. The company began with on-demand showings and expanded into an end-to-end leasing solution that lets property managers outsource fieldwork and automates the listing-to-leasing workflow. Over the last three years Showdigs scaled from a small Seattle agent network to hundreds of agents across Seattle, Denver, Portland, and the Bay Area. Financially, Showdigs has used its revenue to build product and recently closed a $7.4M Seed II round after a prior $3M Seed in April 2019. The company plans to use the new capital to expand its team and rapidly grow its agent network nationwide and into Canada in 2022. Showdigs operates a location-based app that gives renters access to on-demand property tours and crowdsources local real estate agents to provide immediate showings. Its online platform streamlines rental showings for consumers and property managers, aiming to make the process simple and cost-efficient for property managers. The company is currently available in Seattle and Portland and plans to expand to other major cities in 2019. Showdigs closed a $3M seed funding round to support growth. The round was led by Trilogy Equity Partners, and Amy McCullough of Trilogy will join Showdigs' board of directors. The company is led by founder and CEO Kobi Bensimon, who previously co-founded ActiveBuilding, which was acquired by RealPage in 2013.

  • Blink Technologies

    Participated · Series A · Nov 2021

Blink Technologies develops AI-based, non-intrusive eye-tracking software that runs on built-in device cameras and models 3D head pose, eye movement, eye-state, localization, and visual fixation. The company combines eye-tracking control with 3D technology to enable glasses-free 3D environments and touchless gaze control. Blink is deploying its solution across optometry, 3D displays, education, eye health, mobile devices and retail through touchless kiosks and online gaze-tracking applications. The company operates sites in Downtown Palo Alto, California and Downtown Haifa, Israel. In 2021–2022 Blink raised a $14M Series A led by INcapital Ventures following an April 2018 seed round, bringing total funding to date to $24M. Blink plans to use the new capital for product development and hiring, aiming to double its workforce to 60 and expand US and Asia sales, customer service, and Israeli R&D teams.

  • Ganaz

    Led · Series A · Jun 2021

Ganaz builds a workforce stack tailored to agricultural workers who often lack documentation and bank accounts, using SMS/WhatsApp for payments and offline-capable tablets for onboarding and basic training. The platform centralizes worker records and employer-facing interfaces while acting as an intermediary for text alerts and communications. Ganaz plans to issue a payroll Mastercard later this year to let workers avoid check-cashing fees and to capture a share of card transaction fees, and it intends to automate remittances through integrated partnerships. The company emphasizes low-tech, accessible UX (SMS, WhatsApp, simple web apps for sensitive flows) and has designated itself a public benefit corporation to prioritize mission-aligned decisions. Operational traction includes 75 employers signed and roughly 175,000 workers on the platform; Ganaz reports that both ARR and user count approximately tripled year over year. Near-term priorities are rapid expansion, aggressive roadmap execution, and solidifying its position in the U.S. and Mexico before broader expansion. Ganaz builds a platform that helps agriculture and manufacturing employers communicate with large numbers of workers via text from a central dashboard. The product includes onboarding tools, worker-retention features and a service that will let workers receive payment through a dedicated debit card. The startup plans to offer a built-in remittance feature so workers can send earnings abroad. Ganaz targets blue-collar industries and seasonal foreign laborers who are relatively new to technology and are underserved by mainstream SaaS. The company graduated from the Seattle Techstars program last year after pivoting from an earlier Glassdoor-like concept. CEO Hannah Freeman previously ran partnerships at Fair Trade USA; Ganaz has seven employees and is hiring engineering talent. The company has raised $3.3 million to date. Ganaz operates a platform that lets farmers post job listings, communicate directly with seasonal workers, and send urgent messages while translating communications into workers’ native languages. The product reduces reliance on intermediaries by enabling direct employer-worker connections and claims reach to hundreds of seasonal farm workers. The company was co-founded by Hannah Freeman and Sri Artham in spring 2017 and is headquartered in Seattle, serving farms up and down the West Coast. Ganaz graduated from the Techstars Seattle accelerator earlier this year and received seed funding as part of that program. With the latest financing, the company plans to at least double its five-person team and recruit diverse, customer-facing hires who are close to the communities they serve. To date Ganaz has raised close to $2.35 million.

  • TrueFacet

    Participated · Series A · Sep 2016

TrueFacet operates an online marketplace for authenticated pre-owned designer jewelry and watches, pairing rigorous authentication with pricing transparency. Since its launch in 2014 the company lists over 50,000 items from more than 70 brands and reports sales growth of 120%+ quarter-over-quarter. Pieces are typically listed at 30–70% below retail while sellers receive up to 85% of the sale price, and the company highlights several high-value individual sales. TrueFacet recently launched a Concierge Service that fields hundreds of requests per week with response times under 24 hours and provides a TrueFacet Valuation Report that serves as warranty and authenticity. Leadership was bolstered by appointing Francois Kress to the board. The company is based in New York and was founded by Tirath Kamdar and Chris Chan in December 2013 (launched May 2014). TrueFacet operates an online marketplace and authentication process for luxury jewelry and watches, offering discounts of up to 70% off retail and paying sellers up to 80% of resale value. The company is New York–based and graduated from Techstars Seattle. TrueFacet reported over $280,000 in gross marketplace sales in its first six months and is seeing an average of 20% month-over-month growth in gross merchandise volume. The site now lists more than 20,000 items and has thousands of sellers. CEO Tirath Kamdar founded the company drawing on years of jewelry-industry experience. TrueFacet plans to use the new funding to hire employees and grow its platform. TrueFacet operates an online marketplace for secondhand jewelry that pairs real-time market pricing with an authentication process. Users can submit items and receive a market price in six seconds; accepted items are sent to New York for appraisal and authentication before sale. Inventory ranges from mid-level Tiffany pieces to limited-edition jewelry and watches. The company has processed 10,000 items for certification and currently lists 4,500 items from 2,200 sellers. TrueFacet plans to expand the marketplace (noted as a goal ahead of Valentine’s Day) and focuses marketing on the demand side via partnerships with fashion bloggers and word-of-mouth. The company raised $1.7 million in fresh financing to support that expansion; it was founded by Tirath Kamdar and is a Techstars Seattle alumnus.
