PDAX (Philippine Digital Asset Exchange) is a central bank‑licensed digital asset trading platform founded in 2018 by CEO Nichel Gaba. The company provides a web and mobile app (iOS and Android) for Filipinos to buy and sell digital assets and participate in metaverse applications. In 2020 PDAX launched Bonds.ph in collaboration with the Bureau of the Treasury and UnionBank, enabling retail investors to buy government bonds via blockchain-enabled software. Management describes crypto as a transformative technology and positions PDAX to expand access to financial services for millions of Filipinos. The Series B funding will be used to build secure and accessible infrastructure for the digital asset economy and to continue working with regulators to protect and create value for users.
