Founded in 2024 by Mohammed Almarshidi and Arif Alotaibi, Rime delivers an end-to-end Physical AI platform that connects onsite cameras and sensors to autonomous AI agents. The platform processes data and makes decisions on-site via edge computing and AIoT, enabling instant actions and responses without reliance on remote data centers. Rime reports it currently connects over 6,000 cameras across 2,000 operational sites for major retail and service chains in the GCC, positioning it as a rapidly growing Physical AI provider in the region. The company says its solution improves operational efficiency, enforces compliance, and reduces operational waste and unaccounted losses. With the newly raised Seed capital of more than $2 million, Rime plans to consolidate its Saudi footprint and accelerate product development and deployment capabilities. Prior to this round, Rime completed a Pre-Seed round also led by SEEDRA Ventures.
