  • Allseated

    Participated · Equity · Aug 2023

Allseated builds a platform for immersive event and venue planning featuring 3D visualization, floor-plan design tools, virtual tours and digital twins. The product includes collaborative tools to showcase and sell venues, design detailed floor plans to scale, and provide comprehensive analytics. Its technology leverages real-time data analysis, predictive insights, and advanced simulations to improve sales, marketing opportunities, and operational efficiency. Led by CEO Yaron Lipshitz, the company emphasizes precision, accessibility, and multi-stakeholder collaboration in event planning. Alongside its core platform, Allseated is spinning out a Meetaverse division focused on immersive virtual events and corporate environments. The company plans to use the new funding to expand operations and scale its platform. Allseated grew out of event visualizations and focuses on creating photorealistic digital twins of physical events delivered over a web browser. The platform emphasizes video avatars and 3D experiences designed for corporate and B2B use rather than consumer-facing metaverse platforms. Its web-based approach gives brands control over user engagement, data, content and levels of inclusion. The company plans to scale its platform and expand beyond events into broader corporate use with the new funding. Allseated says the market for metaverse-style platforms is being called a $1 trillion opportunity and expects continued growth despite real-world events returning toward normal. The company has grown headcount from 40 employees to 120 worldwide. AllSeated provides event-planning professionals with 3D visualization and real-time collaboration technology that brings venues, caterers, planners and vendors together. Its suite includes guest lists, more than 200,000 to-scale 2D and 3D floorplans, CAD tools, seating charts, timelines and mobile check-in. Led by CEO and founder Yaron Lipchitz, the platform enables the entire event ecosystem to collaborate with clients and hosts. The company operates in San Francisco, New York, the UK and Germany. It raised $4.4M in financing from Liquidity Capital. The company plans to use the funds to continue expanding across North America and Europe. AllSeated operates a network that connects event industry players — venues, planners, caterers, vendors and DIY users — to meet and collaborate on event creation. Its Network functionality includes floor plan management, table layouts, guest lists, seating arrangements, timelines and reports. The platform’s users include leading brands such as Hilton, Marriott, The Ritz Carlton and The Plaza. The company is led by CEO Yaron Lipshitz and was co-founded by Daniel Anisman and Sandy Hammer. AllSeated raised an undisclosed amount of funding and intends to use the proceeds to expand its network.

  • Trendi

    Led · Seed · Jun 2022

TrendiTech develops robotics and processing technology to rescue and upcycle misfit and excess foods into nutritious shelf-stable products. Its core products include the BioTrim line and a Smoothie Machine that use end-to-end processing—UV and ozone cleaning, dicing, pureeing, and drying—to produce nutrient-rich fragments or powders called BioFlakes. BioFlakes are about one-tenth the original weight and retain up to 97 percent of original nutrients, flavours and colour. Trendi is developing three BioTrim models (BT80 mobile unit, BT2500 on-site micro plant, and BT25000 standalone macro plant) to serve farms, manufacturers, distributors and communities. The company says it will give the community a first look at its BioTrim mobile unit this summer. Trendi was founded in 2019 and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. In June 2022 it raised an additional C$6.2M in seed funding, bringing its cumulative seed total to C$8.45M. TrendiTech develops Biotrim mobile processing units that use robotics and AI to upcycle avoidable food waste into a shelf-stable product called Bioflakes. Bioflakes can be repurposed for use in industries including food and beverage, agriculture, packaging, textile, and biofuel. The Biotrim units are currently in production, with a prototype expected to be complete for testing and evaluation in 2022. One unit can upcycle approximately 300,000 kg of food waste annually. The company is led by CEO and co-founder Craig McIntosh. TrendiTech intends to use the recently raised funds to expand operations and broaden its business reach.
