Sumday builds greenhouse gas accounting software that enables accountants and finance teams to deliver carbon accounting with the rigour and transparency expected of financial accounting. The company also offers practical courses and support for sustainability, finance, and procurement teams. Led by CEO Jessica Richmond and based in Burnie, Tasmania, Sumday serves over 50 accounting firms, public companies and the smallest businesses in supply chains. The company closed a $5.3M seed funding round. Sumday intends to use the funds to expand operations across the UK, EU and US and to accelerate product development.
