    Apoha's core product is VIBE® (Variations in Inter-facial Behaviour Under Excitation), an empirical readout that captures wave patterns from minute samples suspended in liquid and subjected to controlled stresses to produce over 1,000 measured descriptors of molecular behaviour. The company says a VIBE readout can resolve many properties simultaneously within minutes and has been applied across pharma, food and materials. Apoha reports commercial collaborations and validation with partners including Boehringer Ingelheim, Ethris, plant-based food company THIS, Somru BioSciences and multiple Fortune 500 customers. The underlying science dates to research begun in 2008 by CEO Shamit Shrivastava and the company was co-founded in 2021 with COO Anshika Srivastava. Apoha holds more than 60 patents and its foundational discovery has been cited in the scientific literature over 1,500 times. The company is positioning its platform as a data layer to improve prediction, reduce late-stage failures and accelerate product development across multiple industries.

    Cyclana Bio is pioneering the creation of physiologically relevant, whole-tissue disease models that capture the complex interactions between cells and the extracellular matrix (ECM). Using menstrual-fluid samples from an observational clinical trial and in-lab modelling, the company uncovers early biomarkers and identifies novel, druggable targets for endometriosis. Its platform combines these tissue models with AI-powered multi-scale data integration to reveal mechanisms that intracellular-focused approaches have missed. The founding scientific team, led by CSO Prof. Kevin Chalut and CEO Dr. Léa Wenger, has already demonstrated that ECM dysregulation drives inflammation and tissue dysfunction in endometriosis. Cyclana Bio plans to expand its methodology to other underserved chronic inflammatory diseases that share similar tissue-level mechanisms. Financially, the company has secured £5 million in pre-seed capital to advance platform development and disease-model validation.

ExpressionEdits announced a $13 million seed round to accelerate candidate selection for preclinical studies and to develop a pipeline of protein-based therapeutics. Its lead program, ITOP1, targets prevention of recurrence in oesophageal cancer and is entering a first-in-human, placebo-controlled Phase I/IIa study (VISTA) across multiple UK NHS university cancer centres. Supported by Cancer Research UK and embedded in Oxford University’s BioEscalator, the company has grown from three academic founders to roughly 20 full-time employees. Non-dilutive backing includes two maximum-size Innovate UK awards and an Innovative Licensing and Access Pathway passport from the MHRA. Beyond ITOP1, Infinitopes plans to expand its precision vaccine approach to additional solid tumours. To date the company has secured more than $35.1 million in equity financing from sector-focused investors such as Octopus Ventures, Amplify Bio, Cancer Research Horizons, Manta Ray Ventures and others. The fresh capital will fund the VISTA trial and further platform development.
