Cogsy provides predictive analytics and planning features designed to help SME e-commerce sellers move off spreadsheets and achieve operational excellence. The product offers real-time inventory monitoring, company-wide visibility, automatic sales forecasting, recommended purchase orders, purchasing-pattern visualization, and backorder workflows that keep customers informed of expected shipping dates. It is positioned as a single source of truth across business units to improve coordination and reduce human error in operations. Co-founded by Adii Pienaar and Stefano Sala, Cogsy plans to use new funding to grow its team and expand operational functionality. The company raised a $5 million seed round led by Accel, bringing total funding to $6 million including a pre-seed. Investors in the seed included Bain Capital Ventures, WooCommerce (Automattic), Sugar Capital, RiverPark Ventures, and several angel backers.

Frontity develops an open-source JavaScript framework that connects React and WordPress with built-in queries to simplify building themes and decoupled sites. The framework is aimed at letting developers focus on site features instead of tooling and configuration. Frontity was founded in 2015 by Pablo Postigo and Luis Herranz and began as a mobile app builder for WordPress blogs under the name Worona. The company participated in Madrid’s SeedRocket accelerator in 2018, open-sourced the framework in 2019, and joined the Google for Startups Residency program in Spain. Frontity plans to use its fresh seed funding to continue developing the framework, add new features, and build its developer community. The company’s investors suggest future support for integration with other platforms beyond WordPress.
