Working Capital Telecom Italia
Via di Val Cannuta, 182, Roma, Lazio, 00166, Italy
Overview
Working Capital is the Telecom Italia program started in 2009 to support Italian innovation ecosystem with two main goals: looking for young entrepreneurial talents and helping them to create new web and tech companies. The Call 4 Ideas opened on the 27th of March 2014, if you wish to apply for the program, you have time until the 26th of May. This year Working Capital assigns 40 Grants, of the value of 25.000 Euros each, connected with accelerators programs. These are meant to support new enterprises searching for their first capital investments and it has the aim of developing the best entrepreneurial projects and getting them ready for their entry into the market. The acceleration program lasts 4 months, from July to November; a period in which the selected startups, 10 for each of our 4 accelerators, will be supported by mentors coming from the entrepreneurial, Venture Capital and academic world. With their help, the startuppers will fine-tune their ideas, define their Business Models and develop their products. The chosen #Wcap startuppers will have access, during the program, to the co-working spaces of their accelerator, where they will have occasion to take part in events, networking moments and formative panels.

Pathflow operates a camera-based real-life analytics platform that analyzes how customers move and behave inside a location and links that analysis with marketing and sales data to produce objective insights. The service is led by CEO and Founder Alberto Gangarossa, with Marco Baratto as COO and Edoardo Ricca as CFO. The company planned a beta test starting September 2013 in selected Italian retail stores. Pathflow raised seed funding to support continued development of the service. The platform targets retail use cases and emphasizes objective, data-driven customer behavior analysis. Current public financial details note a €130K seed financing package that will be used to further develop the offering.
