Avoma builds an AI meeting assistant that automates meeting workflows with agenda templates, real-time transcription, note-taking, video capture, summaries and actionable insights. The product combines meeting management, an AI assistant and conversation intelligence in one tool, integrates with CRMs, lets users search keywords and play short video snippets, and shows who spoke most during meetings. Founded in 2017, the company says its product returns a few hours a week to users and on average improves meeting outcomes by 30%. Avoma has grown revenue over 400% year-over-year for the past three years and serves more than 300 customers. Employee headcount doubled to 15 since last December, and the company plans to expand headcount roughly fourfold in the next 12 months across North America and India. Avoma will use new funding to advance its machine learning and natural language understanding, refine the user interface, and expand workflow integrations across a meeting’s lifecycle.
