Overview

ChargeAfter operates a BNPL consumer financing network that delivers approved, personalized financing offers from multiple lenders through a single, quick application. The company also provides fully branded white‑label BNPL platform services for global banks, acquirers, financial institutions, and strategic partners. With dozens of pre‑integrated global financing lenders and banks, ChargeAfter enables retailers to offer BNPL both online and in‑store via a single integration. Its network supports a wide range of products across the credit spectrum, including card‑based installments, split pay, long and short‑term installments, 0% APR financing, revolving credit, B2B financing, and lease‑to‑own. The company plans to use the new funding to continue expanding operations and broadening its business reach. ChargeAfter is led by founder and CEO Meidad Sharon and is headquartered in New York with offices in California and Tel Aviv. ChargeAfter provides a point-of-sale financing platform that allows retailers to offer consumers personalized financing options from multiple lenders at checkout. The platform enables consumers across the credit-rating spectrum to instantly “apply and buy” and gives retailers a single backend to process and manage transactions. Retailers access a dashboard that filters charges by channel, lender, and country. In May 2019 the company raised $8M in a Series A round led by Propel Venture Partners, with participation from Pico Venture Partners, Plug and Play and Synchrony. ChargeAfter plans to use the funds to grow its U.S. presence, hire sales and marketing industry veterans and R&D developers, open a second office in Sunnyvale, California, and expand its network of merchants and lenders. The company is led by founder and CEO Meidad Sharon and has offices in New York and Sunnyvale.
