Overview
Born out of more than six years of research in the University of Oxford's department of engineering science, Densix is developing a new class of ultra-dense power converters. Its proprietary technology enables up to an 8x reduction in form factor compared with conventional systems. The company positions this capability to support higher compute density, improved energy efficiency and greater flexibility for AI data centres and power grids. Anders Hakfelt is CEO and co-founder of Densix. Following its initial spin-out from Oxford, Densix has raised $4 million in seed funding to accelerate development, expand its team and strengthen its platform.
