Fondue CashBack is a Shopify app based in New York and Tel Aviv that replaces coupon codes with brand-embedded CashBack. The product surfaces eligibility for incentives during the purchase journey and lets shoppers redeem them post-purchase via extra store credit, gift cards, cash, and more. The company works with more than 100 merchants, ranging from emerging brands to publicly traded companies, dropshippers, DNVBs and marketplaces. Led by CEO Oren Charnoff, CTO Dr. William Herlands and COO Abraham Lucey, Fondue plans to scale product development, expand its offline CashBack channel and accelerate its go-to-market strategy. Fondue closed a $10.5M seed funding round in September 2022 to support those initiatives.
