Nowports builds digital management software and services to track freight shipments from ports to destinations across Latin America. Its platform combines algorithms, AI and integrations to connect suppliers, customs brokers, carriers and transportation companies so customers can plan and predict shipment timing. The company says it is working with over 40 customers and aims to address a market that moves almost 54 million containers annually, nearly half of which are delayed or lost. Nowports has offices in Monterrey, Mexico, Chile and Uruguay and plans to expand to Brazil, Colombia and Peru. The startup intends to use new funding to enter new markets, grow its team and integrate with more companies in the fragmented Latin American logistics industry. The two co‑founders met at a Stanford program and cite 10 years of industry expertise, with CEO Maximiliano Casal having worked at a long‑standing freight forwarder.
