Founded in 2018 by José Tomás Ulloa and Max Sateler, Reuse operates a refurbished-electronics business that sources, repairs and resells used consumer devices. The company built automated software to analyze device condition and has shifted from importing stock to more direct sourcing from returns and trade-ins, improving scalability. It works with retailers and brands including Falabella, Cencosud, Samsung and MacOnline, and runs a trade-in program with Grupo Coppel (1,700 stores). In 2022 Reuse sold US$6 million and last year reached US$15 million in sales; Mexico represents about 45% of revenue. Approximately 50% of revenue currently comes from reverse-logistics and trade-in programs, a share the company expects to grow to 80% this year. Reuse employs 60 people and plans to use the new capital to hire and expand operations and marketing, recently adding ex-Kavak marketing head Alejandro Fogarolli.
