The company has formed partnerships with insurers such as Zurich, Catalana Occidente, Allianz, Mapfre, AXA, Segrup and Helvetia, and B2B channel deals with customers including FNAC, SEAT, PC Components, Bip & Drive, Opera, Ray Motors, Garanti Plus, Payin 7 and Payflow. Founded more than two years ago by Jordi Pagés and Rafael Gallardo and headquartered in Barcelona, Weecover emphasizes technology as its differentiator and plans ongoing technological renewal. The team has won the Insurtech and Most Scalable Startup awards at the 2021 South Summit. Management said the funding will be used to expand in European markets and to attract talent to strengthen the organisation.
