Weenat builds and deploys agro-meteorological and soil-water sensors and delivers spatialised, calibrated weather and soil data to farmers and agri‑industries. It combines its sensor network with satellite imaging and AI and launched an R&D program in 2023 to monitor real-time soil water across the root zone. The company operates the largest network of soil sensors in Europe with over 25,000 sensors deployed and serves more than 25,000 users via 200+ in-field partners. Weenat has 60 employees and acquired data-driven agtech Weather Measures in 2021 to reinforce its R&D capabilities. The startup says its 10,000 soil sensors conserved 32 million cubic meters of water in 2023. It plans to expand its precision irrigation solutions across eight European countries to strengthen agricultural resilience to climate change.
