  • Innovamat

    Participated · Series A · Apr 2023

Innovamat designs a curriculum-first math platform that provides classroom materials, teacher guides and digital tools to support in-class instruction rather than pure e-learning. Its approach is research-driven, leveraging frameworks from bodies like NCTM, the Freudenthal Institute, NRICH and OECD and developed by academics and active teachers. The team includes two academics leading curriculum design alongside about 40 teachers and 11 PhDs in math didactics. The company reports adoption by 15,000+ teachers across roughly 2,000 schools, reaching about 350,000 students, and a study it commissioned found students score about 11% higher on standardized tests. Founded in 2017 in Barcelona, Innovamat has expanded from Spain into Italy and multiple Latin American markets and recently began K–5 pilots in New Jersey. It plans to use new funding to expand the business, invest in R&D and open a research center focused on mathematics pedagogy while extending its materials up to age 18.

  • Spect

    Led · Seed · Nov 2021

Spect offers an AI-enabled mobile telemedicine platform and a portable imaging device that lets medical assistants and nurse practitioners capture retinal images and receive diagnostic reports in minutes. The platform returns results in three minutes or less with image gradeability above 95% and is delivered via a SaaS licensing model with no upfront or support cost to customers. Spect's software analyzes images to screen for diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration, and the company positions retinal data as a predictor of broader health conditions. Its dataset exceeds 1.5 million retinal images and continues to grow, forming the basis for expanded AI capabilities. The company is expanding its executive team and pursuing partnerships with clinics and enterprise health systems to broaden diagnostic access. Spect has acknowledged support from Y Combinator, Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JLABS, Medtech Innovator, and StartX.

  • Lookiero

    Participated · Equity · Sep 2019

Lookiero Outfittery Group runs a digital personal shopping service that blends advanced personalisation algorithms with a network of professional shoppers to curate fashion boxes for customers. The company leverages proprietary recommendation models to match individual preferences, then ships tailored outfits to users across its 12-country footprint. In 2025 it completed the technological and logistical integration of the formerly separate Lookiero and Outfittery operations, enabling a unified platform and improved operational efficiency. That integration helped Lookiero achieve positive EBITDA, marking an important profitability milestone. With fresh capital, management plans to deepen AI capabilities for personalisation, demand forecasting, and supply planning while continuing to rely on human stylists for a hybrid service experience. The firm also aims to capture additional merger synergies to further boost margins and customer satisfaction.
