  • SpendRule

    Participated · Seed · Feb 2026

SpendRule has built what it calls healthcare’s first AI-driven contract intelligence platform focused on the largely unmanaged purchased-services category, which represents nearly half of a health system’s non-labor spend. The software converts complex contract provisions into executable logic and embeds them into existing accounts-payable workflows, enabling real-time, four-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, invoices and contract terms. When discrepancies arise, the system flags them with supporting evidence before payment is issued, preventing leakage that industry observers estimate exceeds $32 billion annually. Health systems such as OSF HealthCare, Kettering Health, MemorialCare and MUSC Health are already using the product to shift from reactive audits to proactive invoice prevention, freeing staff from thousands of hours of manual review. Because the platform layers on top of a hospital’s existing ERP or AP system, adoption requires no rip-and-replace effort. SpendRule’s vision is to give supply-chain teams continuous visibility and automated enforcement across thousands of lengthy service contracts, ensuring negotiated savings reach the bottom line. The company is backed by healthcare-focused investors and is leveraging the commercial acceleration capabilities of health-system partners in the Abundant Alliance.

  • Auxira Health

    Led · Seed · Dec 2025

Auxira Health operates a virtual cardiology platform that pairs advanced practice providers, medical assistants and registered nurses with cardiology practices as fully integrated remote “pods.” These virtual teams handle clinical and administrative tasks, allowing on-site cardiologists to see more patients and reduce workload. The company partners with cardiology groups and health systems nationwide, positioning its service as a scalable way to address specialist shortages and administrative burden. Led by CEO Inna Plumb, Auxira Health is building out technology and operational infrastructure to support seamless integration with partner clinics. The firm plans to hire additional clinicians and support staff to meet rising demand. By mid-2026, management expects the platform to support more than 100 cardiologists. The recent seed funding provides the financial runway to accelerate these growth initiatives and deepen product capabilities.
