- Oblenio Bio
Participated · Series B · Jun 2026
Oblenio Bio is advancing LBL-051, a tri-specific T-cell engager that unites BCMA, CD19 and CD3 and is specifically engineered for autoimmune patients. Preclinical data presented at EULAR 2026 showed complete depletion of peripheral and tissue B cells and plasma cells with step-up dosing, emergence of immature non-memory B cells upon recovery, dose-dependent decreases in peripheral immunoglobulins, and no observed cytokine release syndrome in non-human primates. The company is moving rapidly toward clinical development and plans to initiate a first-in-human proof-of-concept study this year. Oblenio holds an exclusive option from Leads Biolabs for a global license to develop, manufacture, and commercialize LBL-051. Its leadership team includes CEO Samantha Truex, and the board will include representatives from Pfizer Ventures, Deep Track Capital, and Aditum Bio following the Series B. Oblenio is based in Cambridge, Mass., and has just completed a $62 million Series B to fund its clinical program.
- Tempero Bio
Participated · Series B · Mar 2025
Tempero Bio is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company advancing TMP-301, a next-generation mGluR5 negative allosteric modulator (NAM) designed to prevent relapse by targeting the biology of addiction. TMP-301 has shown promising results in preclinical models of alcohol, cocaine and opiate use disorders and has been evaluated in over 80 healthy volunteers in Phase 1 with an acceptable safety and tolerability profile and robust PET-measured receptor occupancy. The company has initiated a Phase 2 trial in alcohol use disorder and a drug–drug interaction study in people using cocaine, with a Phase 2 cocaine trial planned following the DDI study. Tempero plans to use new financing to support two Phase 2 clinical trials, Phase 3-enabling activities, and additional preclinical studies and formulation work. The company is focused on addressing large unmet needs—there are no FDA-approved medications for cocaine use disorder and high prevalence of alcohol and drug use disorders drives demand for new therapies. Tempero Bio is an Aditum Bio portfolio company and recently announced John Wagner, M.D., Ph.D., will join as Chief Medical Officer.
